InvictusOS is a lightweight operating system designed to run on low-end and outdated laptops and desktops. It is designed to deliver a fast, efficient and reliable experience. The goal is to stay fast and responsive while keeping resource usage low, so that you can still keep using those machines for basic tasks.

Origins

InvictusOS began as an experimental build meant to revive old netbooks and compact desktops.

Continuous development

Over time, feedback from testers shaped InvictusOS into a system focused on efficiency, compatibility and unobtrusive design.

InvictusOS Sagaris release

The current Sagaris release represents the first version of all the combined work of the team. It marks the first step in the development of InvictusOS.
